Mr. Dorhoffer will cover key trends in post-Booker sentencing, including detailed coverage of key circuit court rulings, and splits among the circuits on Booker-related issues. Additional topics covered include the latest developments at the Sentencing Commission; what's happening on Capitol Hill re: federal sentencing; and statistical trends on post-Booker sentencing practices among the district courts nationwide.
During the 90-minute presentation, Mr. Dorhoffer will take breaks to receive questions from the audience. At the outset of the program, the moderator will explain the procedure for posting typed questions. A Q&A session will also be held at the conclusion of the program.
